Census Project 2010

The Mix’s Dona Richardson and Ted Lobinger  just completed a large project for the US Census.   The Mix’s Steve Davis helped in casting for various languages.   The Mix recorded and mixed 6 languages of multiple spots for Urdu, Laotian, Hmong, Japanese, Bengali and Cambodian.  Steve also helped IW Group  (Ad Agency) and Union Editorial produce the spots.  Check out our multi-cultural page on our website for spots.

Just finished a half-year gig w/the Census at the Burbank Census office, and all the time I wondered who did the outstanding promo job for us, in all those languages. Now I know! I fortuitously stumbled onto your site while looking for VO work. KUDOS, oh Mix-Masters! You did an AWESOME job w/the Census promos! We got a GREAT response rate — much better than expected — in our LCO district among all those non-English-speaking communities. Many thanks for your help in getting the word out. You did a top-notch job, even though it wasn’t easy! I know, because I did my small part by doing telephone questionnaires in Spanish, Hebrew and English. Just thought you might like some feedback from us small fry. Hat’s off to you! Ciao, Bella
